Fastest Person to Visit all 196 Countries of the World…. Loading…

Been on the Road, Air and over Seas in the last fifteen months traveling around the world with the aim of setting the record of being the the fastest person to visit every country on the Planet.

Cassie De Pecol , 27 has already been to 180 countries and by the end of the 2016, she is expected to have visited every single country and become the person to have done so in the shortest time on record.

According to @Travelandliesure.com , Cassie set out on her adventure in July 2015 from her native Connecticut in the US and has spent approximately $198,000 (which includes Airfare for 254 flights all over the world). 

The record for the fastest man around the world was set in 2014 by @then 33 year old Graham Hughes, who traveled every country in just four years.

De Pecol stays two to five days in one country and have gone through four passports in the course of her journey. The funds for her project is made possible in part by donations from sponsors . De Pecol is also able to stay in some luxury eco hotels around the world in exchange to advertise them on instagram.

On Cassie’s travels, she does some work, acting as an Ambassador for the @International Institute of Peace Through Tourism, collecting water samples from different parts of the world for @Science and conservation and filming a documentary on her experiences.

“Though I havent yet become the first documented woman to travel every to country in the world, I imagine that the feeling of accomplishment and awe will be overwhelming ” De Pecol says to @Daily Mail. “I just hope that I’m able to inspire young women (and men) around the world to go after goals and feats that so far, people think can only be done by man.”
