An eagle is a large bird of prey known for its remarkable hunting abilities, powerful build and keen eyesight. Eagles are formidable stalkers in the avian world, renowned for their exceptional ability to catch prey while in flight. Their incredibly sharp eyesight allows them to spot their quarry from great distances.

Eagles possess powerful wings and muscles, enabling swift and agile flight. They can dive at high speeds to snatch prey with precision. They are masters of  stealth and strategic approaches, flying high and then diving rapidly to surprise their prey.

There are about 60 species of eagles, found mainly in Eurasia and Africa, with some species in North and South America, and a few in Australia.

Eagles are often seen as symbols of strength, freedom, and vision. They hold cultural significance in various societies and are national symbols for several countries including Nigeria.
