Prof. Wole Soyinka’s Residence Rampaged again By Cattle Herders..

The home of Africa’s first Nobel Laureate (Literature) Prof. Wole Soyinka has been rampaged once again by notorious herdsmen, making it the second time it is occurring in the past year.

Wole Soyinka said he was out of the country when it first happened April of 2016.  On his arrival, the home situated in the forest in Abeokuta was  invaded and a motorable path was made by the hooves of cows through the grounds. Neighboring Farmers had their crops destroyed by the herds of cattle.

The improvised entry and exit were blocked soon after but that did not deter the herdsmen as they intruded again.

Prof. Soyinka made this known to newsmen (awefirm.org) on Friday 28th April 2017 at the Freedom Park (Former Colonial Prison) Broad Street, Lagos and disclosed that they (Herdsmen) created a different path to gain entrance this time, right in front of his door.
