Artists can submit their photo, painting or mixed art work before 15 August. Twenty art works will get selected to be part of the ICONIC LAGOS exhibition at Didi Museum, to be held from 14 to 26 September.
ICONIC LAGOS is an art project by Eyes of a Lagos Boy, Bolaji Alonge. It revolves around celebrating everyday life in Lagos, honoring its inhabitants and exploring what makes this city unique.
The exhibition consists of three elements: photography by Bolaji Alonge, mixed media artworks by Alonge /Jason Ogbazi and those of other artists – expressing their own vision of Iconic Lagos.
We hereby launch a call for submissions from 12 July to 15 August for artists to send in their works. A selection of twenty art works will be presented at Didi Museum.
Artists will be offered a licensing agreement for sales during the exhibition only. A printed and online catalogue will be premiered at the opening.
