The first edition of our new series – Photo of the Week, highlights the development process of a megacity.
Lagos – a city on the move. Some mega projects will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday and Tuesday 23- 24 January.
Monday: The Lekki Deep Sea Port, the 32-metric tons per hour Lagos Rice Mill and the 18.75-kilometer 6-lane rigid-pavement Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway,
Tuesday: The John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History and the iconic Lagos Blue Line rail project. The President will commision a private sector project, MRS Lubricant factory, in Apapa.
It is undeniable that these projects will change the face of Lagos and hopefully the life of Nigerians for the better. In ten years, imagine what this view could look like.
