The Photo of the Week showcases Western House, Nigeria’s pioneering high-rise office building, which commenced operations in 1958, alongside surrounding structures, former United States embassy in the foreground, with the Independence Building prominently situated to the right.

The ‘Then’ photo showcases early 1970s Lagos, with the now vintage cars depicted serving as a nostalgic time capsule.
