Decorated producer and afrobeats impresario, KDDO has released his debut album, Too Late Too Lit on 14 May.

The EP delivered via Pentlife Music and Sony Music Entertainment West Africa is a feel-good body of work that music fans have anticipated. Too Late Too Lit is an eight-track project that spotlights Africa’s sound templates with features by the finest acts in a culmination of afrobeats, amapiano, pop, R&B and contemporary high life genres.

The commercial success of previously premiered single ‘eWallet‘ set the right tone for a sequel. ‘eWallet’ with South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest is an anthem with over five million streams across platforms and enjoys constant airplay.

KDDO’s (formerly Kiddominant) reach and influence in the music industry is apparent considering the group of global afrobeats superstars involved in this project. It is a musical mix that brings Africa together.
 
Too Late Too Lit includes ‘Beamer Body’ ft. frequent collaborator – Davido with KDDO’s appreciable vocal effort on full display. Other tracks are ‘Party’ ft. Jidenna, Bas, ‘Show Me Love’ ft. Ferow, ‘Flex Education’ (Interlude), ’20 Something’ ft. Sho Madjozi, ‘eWallet’ ft. Cassper Nyovest, Holy Ghost Fire ft. The Cavemen, ‘Loco ft. Mayorkun’.
 
In reference to the pandemic, which made him realize the need to cherish every moment and create good memories at every opportunity, KDDO said “I want my music to be the soundtrack of people’s lives. To remind them of a time in their lives that they never want to forget. I just want people to have fun and enjoy themselves while they can, to be able to create great memories with their friends and families with my music.”
