Hold Me: Dice Ailes and Tiwa Savage explore romance in new single

Nigerian artist, songwriter and hit-maker, Dice Ailes unveils his new single ‘Hold Me’ featuring Tiwa Savage on 23 February.

‘Hold Me’, is released on TMM Entertainment / Black Butter Records in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment. The first single of the year sees Dice Ailes switch from his familiar theme of money and the upscale lifestyle to the expression of love and sensual evocation wrapped in the tapping sound of afrobeats. The two singers take the listener through the tantalizing details of the romantic exchange between lovers, reminiscent of the eternal 1990s R&B vibe.

Tiwa Savage, as a self-acclaimed African bad girl and Naija Queen of afrobeats commands a cult following of millions on and off social media. She has been able to shake off a gnawing scandal that trailed her to drop amazing smashing hits that leave fans with no choice but to enjoy her talent with love undiminished.

The kickass pair of Dice and Tiwa would be better enjoyed in the visual form. The music video has been shot and set to premiere at a later date. ‘Hold Me’ is the first feature from the forthcoming EP Ladies First set to be out next month.

Dice Ailes delivered ‘Money Dance‘ last year, which has now garnered over a million worldwide streams, followed by the launch of his entertainment imprint, TMM (The Money Mob). He collaborated with Ajimovoix on one of Nigeria’s viral sounds of 2021, ‘Focus’ remix.

Real name, Shasha Damilola Alesh, he began the new year with a first leg of promo appearances in Nairobi, Kenya as part of activities in buildup to his forthcoming EP project, which he already revealed to be a collection of classics.

Dice launched his professional music career in 2014 with Telephone. He has since consistently served a flurry of hits; ‘Miracle’, ‘Ella’, ‘Otedola’, ‘Alakori’ and recently, ‘Pim Pim’ feat. Olamide.

Dice Ailes sheer hard work and talent earned him award nominations which include the ‘Rookie of The Year’ and Next Rated at Nigeria’s leading music award ceremony, the ‘Headies’ in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
